Stephanie D Jones graduated with a Masters of Art in Teaching in Music Education from Indiana University in 2002. She also has a Bachelors Degree in Vocal Performance from the University of West Florida.
Stephanie enjoyed singing with The Indiana University Opera and The African American Choral Ensemble, during her graduate work. She has performed the role of Gretel in the opera Hansel and Gretel and has performed Mendelssohns Elijah at Carnegie Hall with vocal solos under the direction of world renowned baritone Sherill Milnes.
As a former music educator in Murfreesboro City Schools and Rutherford County Schools, Stephanie is a full-time mom, an adjunct professor of Voice at Middle Tennessee State University, Instructor of Voice at Murfreesboro Academy of Music and part time Private Voice Teacher in Murfreesboro, TN.
She is a member of the International award-winning TuneTown Show Chorus, where she continues her music education and vocal training on a weekly basis. She has taught all ages, from babies in Music with Mommie classes to the maturing voice.
Stephanie feels blessed to be able to do what she loves on a daily basis as a profession. Her passion and joy is teaching her students how to properly use their voices so they can find the artist within.
