Robert Woolley

 Private Teachers

I am a professor at The Royal College of Music, and a pianist, organist and harpsichordist who also takes private students.

I have given performances in the UK, USA, South America, Japan, Austria, France, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Holland, Spain, Switzerland, Czechoslovakia and Hungary, and was artist-in-residence at Washington University, St. Louis. I regularly broadcast for the BBC, and programmes have included many recordings on historic organs, harpsichords and fortepianos.

I teach piano, harpsichord, music theory and musicianship classes available to prepare pupils for the ABRSM Grade 5 theory exam. This must be passed before candidates can enter for Grade 6 instrumental or singing exams.

The classes take place near Hampton Court – convenient for Kingston Upon Thames and Esher.
