Barbara Edwards grew up surrounded by music and started to play the piano and sing at a very early age. By the time Barbara was in her teens, she had performed on the main stages of Dublin Theatres and had gained a scholarship to the College of Music for Voice preceeding a prestigious stint as a Bunratty Singer, in the famous Bunratty Castle. She returned to continue her professional development as a musician with the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin.

Barbara has always believed in the power of music for positive well being along with it being fun, especially for young children. Bringing music to young children and adults who may never have had the opportunity to experience to joy of music, is something she is passionate about.

Her experience stems from being a piano and voice teacher, choral director, musical director, church organist and also a performing musician in her own right.  Her love and passion for the art and the sharing and enjoyment of it is evident throughout her work.

Rhythmic Noise Music© implement the Kodaly methods for young children helping them recognise pitch and pulse. This is done in an interactive and fun way for the children, and all abilities are catered to.
