I am the vocal co-ordinator for a west london music service and teach from nursery school age to pensioners from one to one to large groups.
I specialise in pop/jazz and musical theatre repertoire. I have a music degree from the University of London as well as postgraduate qualifications in music therapy and music teaching. I am also a Japanese bodywork practitioner (shiatsu).
I am thoroughly trained and grounded in vocal technique and with extensive experience in the field am able to work with clients on correcting problems with posture, respiration, phonation, tuning, articulation etc.
There is a charge of £65 for the initial consultation which will take 75 minutes and include an exploration of aims and objectives and then a one hour practical session.
At the end of the consultation you can decide if you want to continue with ongoing singing lessons at the cost of £50 per hour. Sometimes a one off session provides all that is needed for the pupil to solve particular vocal issues.
You may cancel or postpone appointments without charge as long as this is at least 24 hours before your lesson. Half the normal fee will be charged if less than 24-hour notice is given.
I work south west of London on the Surrey border in between Twickenham rugby ground and Hampton Court Palace.
