Paul Dewhurst M Mus, ARCO, FASC, PGCE is an experienced teacher who has worked extensively with both children and adults. He studied at the Universities of Hull and the East Anglia.

Having been Head of Music in two schools he moved to Yorkshire in 2005 and now teaches singing, piano and keyboard from his home in Pontefract.

He is conductor of the Bradford Chorale, the Leeds Methodist Choir and the Pontefract Choral Society as well as being organist of St Giles Church in Pontefract.

He is familiar with both ABRSM and Trinty Guildhall exams and to date his pupils have enjoyed a 100% pass rate with both exam boards.

Music Theory in preparation for ABRSM exams also taught.

Although mainly classically-based, a wide and varied repertoire is used in lessons so as to keep pupils engaged and interested in what they are learning.
