Kristy Swift – B.Mus(Hons), A.Mus.A
I graduated in music from Queensland University with Honours in 1997 and was the valedictorian of my year. A brief stint at drama school followed, after which I started working professionally as a performer.
My performance experience includes both musicals and ROH, Covent Garden.
Throughout my career, I’ve held teaching positions at a secondary and tertiary level both in Australia and the UK. I relocated to London in 2007 after I was awarded the Herald Sun Aria Prize, Australia’s largest and most prestigious opera scholarship. Since then, I’ve been teaching voice and piano privately and at Wellington College. I’ve worked as a sessional vocal coach for Decca, and have been a seminar leader for Alfred Publishing, the international music publisher.
Come and have a sing! Vocal coaching now available: audition and performance preparation, technical development, or just singing for fun.
Qualified teacher, all styles. I teach at Marylebone Music Rooms near Bond Street and Jacques Samuels Pianos, Edgeware Road. Skype lessons also available.
Relaxed schedule. Just try one session if you wish.
