I am primarily a mezzo-soprano singer and a singing teacher but I also teach Clarinet and Music Theory. I am a conductor at an beginner/intermediate level, with choir leading as my speciality.
Singing – will teach all ages and abilities, for fun or for grades. Although classically trained I sing and teach a variety of different styles.
Music Theory – I will teach from those who believe they are a lost cause (!), up to grade 6
Clarinet – beginners to intermediate/grade 5.
I teach all ages, for fun or for exams. I have qualified teacher status and years of experience both singing and teaching. I have experience of pupils with SEN.
BA (hons) Music with Instrumental/Vocal Teaching, MA Choral Studies
I also run classes for Jolly Babies Music Class and Music for Mummies to provide fun-filled music classes with the baby in your life! Introduce them to a love of music and let them try out some instruments. We do traditional songs for babies alongside some original songs, with actions and bouncing that will make them smile! The structured weekly music classes help to develop a sense of rhythm, which will also help with learning and speech development. Watch your child grow in confidence as they come each week and take part in our small, friendly classes full of music, educational games and fun activities!
From birth to about 15 months. This operates within school term times. Please see my Facebook page or website for more information on different areas and times. Also, if you have a child 15m up to pre-school – they can do Music with Mummy!
