Jessica Hunting BMus (Hons) in Classical Voice is a Musician, Choir Leader, Singing and Piano Teacher – one to one classes, group workshops for Rockchoir and co-founder of Wild Voice Singing Retreats.
Since graduating from university with BMus (Hons) I have performed and taught for several years. It does not matter what ability you are, as long as you’re enthusiastic about singing or playing the piano then you are bound to make good progress. I teach all styles – from classical, musical theatre to current, contemporary music. I also teach both children and adults. I focus on breathing techniques, producing a clear, projected quality sound and of course…enjoyment! I also focus on building on self-esteem and confidence when performing.
I have over ten years experience of both teaching and peforming. I currently teach one to one lessons to both children and adults,of all abilities.
I studied as a classical mezzo-soprano at Huddersfield University under the direction of Paul Wade.
I teach all styles of music and feel that it is important all my pupils feel confident and find singing enjoyable. I focus on vocal techniques, breath support and performance presentation.
For the piano I focus on basic technique and note recognition.
I have an effective approach to teaching. I aim to build on people’s confidence and encourage them to achieve to their best ability.
