Harley Voice Studio
Dedicated Voice training studios
Liz Harley is both an accomplished singer in her own right, and one of the leading professional singing teachers/coaches in the UK.
Liz started The Voice Studio in 1995 in Hertfordshire with the aim of encouraging singers – from beginners to professional performers – to explore their true vocal potential. In 2014 she moved to Edinburgh and opened Edinburgh Voice Studio while still retaining clients in Hertfordshire and London.
In 2015 Liz re-located to Hertfordshire and is now working from her studio in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. Liz works with singers (from the age of 12) covering all aspects of vocal technique including repertoire, confidence and performance skills.
She works in many different genres/styles including classical, music theatre, jazz, rock and pop and helps with preparations for exams, auditions and performances.
Those who may never have sung before and would like to know more about their voice or wish to explore their singing/vocal potential are equally welcome.
One to one lessons are available for full-time students and young people under the age of 18. People book and pay as they go, so there is no requirement to pay in advance or book a series of lessons.
Liz Harley LGSM pgGSMD was classically trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, and performed as a contralto soloist both in the UK and abroad with, amongst others, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, the Northern Sinfonia, The Halle Orchestra and the Welsh Chamber Orchestra.
Liz has also sung principal roles with the English National Opera, Scottish Opera, the D’Oyly Carte Opera Company and the Gran Teatre de Liceu, Barcelona.
