Amanda Goldthorpe-Hall EstillCMT, BMus, LRAM, Pop-Op-MT is a scholarship alumni of The Royal Academy of Music and one of only 25 Estill Certified Master Teachers in the UK.
A Multi-West-End-Credited Performer who has appeared in shows such as The Phantom of The Opera, The Sound of Music, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and Evita, her area of speciality is Musical Theatre, but she also teaches Classical and Contemporary singing.
Offering technical training, repertoire advice and audition preparation, Amanda works with professionals and beginners and has taught at many of the UK’s leadng Conservatoires and colleges.
Fully CRB checked, Amanda has extensive experience teaching young voices, with pupils that have appeared in West-End shows such as Les Miserables, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Sound of Music and The Wizard of Oz.
She has also been Head of Performing Arts for a University, as well as Principal of her own independent theatre school that she sold to a leading UK franchising company in 2010.
She has a busy recording and concert schedule, but has always had a busy private teaching practice alongside her professional engagements.
She can currently be found teaching at Performance Preparation Academy in Guildford, and for the Royal Marines School of Music. Available to teach in the Hampshire, Surrey Berks borders and in studios in Central London, these days due to time constraints, Amanda welcomes inquiries only from Theatre and recording professionals or those in pre-professional vocational training over the age of 18. Whilst she will occasionally teach children, she prefers to teach adults and can only work with children with at least one professional credit on their CV.
