Forthcoming Performances by Chantage

Tolosa International Choral Competition

Chantage will be taking part in the Tolosa International Choral Competition in Tolosa, Basque Country on Thursday 30th October 2008. The choir will be flying out for a week of concerts before the competition. Please keep your fingers crossed for us!

The Choir (Radio 3)

Please tune in to BBC Radio 3 on Sunday 2nd November at 6.30 pm to listen to Aled Jones’ show The Choir. Chantage will be featured. The show will include highlights from our performance at The Purcell Room earlier in the year and also from our new CD – ‘Hark! Chantage at Christmas’.

Our Name

Yes, we know it's French for blackmail, but we like the old English: "singing for your supper" more!

CHANTAGE (a Fr. word from chanter, to sing, slang for a criminal making an avowal under examination), a demand for money backed by the threat of scandalous revelations, the French equivalent of "blackmail".
