![]() Marie Miller Marie Miller (lyrico spinto soprano) studied with Valerie Baulard and the famous Welsh tenor, Edgar Evans, principal tenor at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden for nearly 30 years. She has given singing lessons for over 20 years and is still performing. Her aim is to enable pupils to enjoy their lessons and to sing with ease. Particular attention is given to breathing, coaching and interpretation as well as vocal technique. Her students have benefitted from lessons for both classical and musical theatre. She has performed central roles in over 40 operas including title roles in Puccini's Madama Butterfly and leading soprano roles in Gounod's Faust (Marguerite), Verdi's Il Trovatore (Leonora) and La Traviata (Violetta), both Donna Anna and Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Queen of Night and First Lady in The Magic Flute (Mozart), Puccini's La Boheme (Musetta), Britten's Albert Herring (Lady Billows) and many others.
