 The Confident Voice Coach I developed The Confident Voice over 15 years ago in Vancouver, BC. Since then I have enjoyed teaching people to be vocal in Europe, UK and Canada. The delight of teaching is knowing that people choose different reasons to develop their voices; some for personal or business reasons, but mostly people want to communicate who they are to the world; gain confidence, have fun, be creative, take risks, be vocal. . . Singing and being heard are so personal; I believe it is important to listening to the students and validating their needs. It is not about how well I sing or where I have sung, it is always about the potential of my students. Mixing classical and contemporary voice techniques together with my knowledge of the body, I understand what techniques best suit the students in a private or groups setting. I teach with a sense of humour and a listening ear, to help put people at ease. No matter the reasons to learn to sing, or speak publicly, I train each person to be their best.
