 Rachel Walker Classically trained professional singer, BMus hons, teaching both classical and modern vocal styles. Teaching pupils from age 10 upwards, Rachel's Estill-based teaching specialises in support, the application of specific vocal qualities and in boosting a performer's confidence through better vocal production. Rachel teaches both from her own studio and from educational establishments in the South-West of England. During her career, Rachel has performed with the award-winning female vocal ensemble Voices SA, and the ensembles Con Spirito and Lyrica. Rachel has also performed in a coloratura masterclass with Cardiff Singer of the World's Ingrid Surgenor, toured Prague as the soprano soloist in Tippet's A Child of Our Time and performed on live radio, by listener request. Rachel has performed in the concert halls of Austria , premiering a new composition and an arrangement of a Warlock piece, by the Royal Operas Julian Baker. Rachel is also the featured vocalist on two rock albums, currently being recorded. Member of the ISM.
