Kathryn teaches from her home in Frimley, Surrey, easily accessible from Junction 4 of the M3 and 20 minutes by car from Guildford. Kathryn has been teaching for 10 years during which time she has built up a solid reputation for quality. She is classically trained but uses the Voicecraft/Estill method in her lessons. Due to recording and performing commitments, Kathryn is only able to take on intermediate to advanced-level students who want to specialise in Music Theatre. She usually teaches those aged 16 years and above, although in rare cases she will take younger children if they are committed to a career in theatre. If you�re in any doubt as to whether you are at a suitable level, please call Kathryn for a chat. Kathryn is happy to prepare students for examinations in Music Theatre (from Grade 5 to Diploma level) through the London College Of Music/Thames Valley University and has an excellent record in this area. She is equally happy to coach students for auditions or specific performances, and many of her students go on to study Musical Theatre at degree-level. Lesson content varies dependant on the needs of the client, and range from repertoire development to focussing on a particular aspect of vocal technique. Kathryn is a competent pianist and is able to accompany students on the piano when required. Prices are �30 an hour for ad hoc lessons, or �28 an hour (�14 per half hour) for weekly sessions, which are charged in termly blocks of 10.
