 Kate Threlfall Kate Threlfall (BA Hons), pre-certified Speech Level Singing Teacher with over ten years of singing experience. Specialising in Pop, Jazz, Soul, Musical Theatre, also with Classical experience. Available to teach privately one-to-one and groups in London. Online Lessons also available. Also offers piano, music theory and songwriting. All ages welcome and student rates are available. I am a passionate and intuitive musician, which makes me an encouraging and focused teacher. I enjoy all aspects of music and the challenge of teaching them within all kinds of situations. I particularly enjoy working with children as I find their fresh perspective on music very inspiring. This in turn helps me to be a better teacher and learn better ways to inspire them in return. I aim to include many styles of music within my teaching, and feel that it is important that young musicians can be shown a wide range of ways to express themselves. I also aim to build self-esteem in my work as I find this a hugely important issue within musical development. I have a huge amount of experience as a solo, backing and choral singer, as well as orchestral experience. I have studied a range of styles of music in my career as a singer and I believe this sets me up well to give students a well-rounded picture of music.
