Jen Clark
A graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Jen offers individual and group voicework sessions focusing on both singing and the spoken word. She has developed her authentic voicework method over many years, combining her professional background in arts, health and education. The embodied felt sense and a grounded meditative awareness are central to this approach. To further this work she is currently training in a psychotherapy that specialises in the area.Individual voice development sessions focus on regaining the natural voice, learning to sing more effectively, giving a work presentation with authenticity, or supporting personal development. All sessions incorporate voice production techniques, self reflection, delivery style and constructive criticism.Jen is also a a unique strings player, singer, performer and composer. A formative member of the Battlefield band, she is listed in the Guinness Book of Contemporary Music for her work at that time. She now focuses on contemporary issues and reinterpreting her Celtic roots. An outstanding multi-instrumentalist, Jen's performances combine rich vocals, driving rhythms ... and a touch of ironic humour.
