 Hannah Northedge Hannah is a tutor that can offer first hand performing advice as a professional singer that has worked consistently for 20 years in the jazz, pop and session singing fields with major session credits. All styles are taught from pop, rock, jazz, folk, musical theatre, country, classical and opera. Emphasis is on helping a student to find their original voice and encouraging them in the path THEY wish to take. 30 min, 1 hour and longer lessons offered. Individual and group lessons for existing bands. Hannah has 14 years experience of teaching in schools, evening classes, with nationwide company Vocaltutor and privately. She is a vocal coach and musical mentor for several pop groups including Holah for renowned producer John Hudson (Sugababes, Tina Turner, Coldplay) at Mayfair Studios, London. Hannah was a judge for nationwide singing competition IDOL UK 2008 advising and selecting contestants for a recording contract. Her students have secured places on musical theatre courses at Mountview School of Performing Arts, London School of Musical Theatre, LAMDA, The Brit School and Trinity College. Several students have been signed to recording labels and Hannah has an excellent exam pass rate in ABRSM, TCM, LCM. All ages and standards are welcome from beginners to established professionals. Nervous students especially welcome. Music theory tuition offered. Information sheets, vocal exercise CDs and backing tracks are provided within the cost of the lesson.
