 Elaine Bishop I specialize in musical theatre, operettas, light jazz and classical music. I also perform on a regular basis which helps me to keep developing my performance skills! I am on the panel of vocal tutors for the Lincolnshire Music Service and am also a qualified primary school teacher. My teaching follows ISM (Incorporated Society of Musicians) and ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal School of Music) guidelines and preparation for singing exams is also available depending on the needs of the student. I am also experienced in training students for specific performances, in caring for the voice and for auditions. I always make sure that I listen to the needs of my students and personalize lessons towards their needs. All students are welcome regardless of ability or age - I have experience of teaching children, teenagers and adults with a wide range of abilities from beginners to Grade 8 standard. However, I still also hold the belief that singing should be enjoyable and endeavour to keep this at the heart of all the lessons that I teach!
