![]() Andrew Conley Baritone Andrew Conley has wide and varied experience in opera and theatre. A graduate of The Royal College of Music, London, he was a member of the prestigious Benjamin Britten International Opera School, where he was a scholar. He performs regularly on the British and international stage while basing himself in London, and is a suitable teacher for all levels of vocal training. His teaching style involves a holistic approach to vocal preparation, as well as providing a sound technical basis for vocal production; particularly for young singers. A gradual and sound approach to development is favoured, with emphasis on the development of each student's unique voice. Lessons focus on each students goals, and foster flexibility, beauty of sound, and confidence.He has benefited from past tuition with Dame Kiri te Kanawa, as well as working with Sir Thomas Allen, Phillip Langridge, Sherrill Milnes, Rosalynd Plowright and Virginia Zeani, among others. Recently, he was a finalist in the 2007 Royal Overseas League Singing Competition and a semi finalist in the Kathleen Ferrier Singing Competition at the Wigmore Hall in 2006.
