Integrative Voice therapy utilises the innate power of the voice in combination with the bodys energy systems, to bring about change, transformation and release. I begin with seven basic exercises beginning at the top of the body and working downwards in a journey through the energy system. People are invited to make a sound and adopt a particular movement or posture in each of the seven major energy centres or chakras. During this process, I am able to tune in intuitively to what the voice is expressing from the unconcious in the form of words or images. This information is fed back and we work together to uncover the core issue affecting the person at that time. When these emotions have been acknowledged and expressed we can then go on to access and release strong powerful sounds which are connected, authentic and truly expressive of the core self. The work is designed to locate and energise our own powers for growth and change and this process will continue after the session . The process is carried out in unconcious time which cannot be hurried, thus the average session takes between two and a half and three hours.Many different types of people have benefitted from the work inclidung professional singers and musicians as well as those wanting to explore their full vocal potential in search of personal development.I also work with groups carrying out one day and weekend workshops as well as week long retreats in Europe and America.I am a member of the Natural Voice Practitioners Network and an associate teacher for Vocaltutor
