Hi Folks,

Thanks again to WhyManDev.com, who successfully completed important upgrades to both the main site and directory over the past couple of weeks which unfortunately caused errors in the directory search when using the keyword 'all'. This and several other minor bugs have been fixed plus the search improved.

The site was inaccessable for such a short period of time during the upgrades that I doubt it was noticed or any data lost, however, ALL members are strongly advised to check their listing, especially if you recently made any edits, changes etc., and report any bugs!

New Payment Gateway

Along with the upgrade comes the addition of a new Payment Gateway - 2Checkout.com!

When upgrading, members may now select whether they prefer to pay via 2Checkout or Paypal!

2Checkout.com is an established secure payment gateway that provides credit processing services for various credit cards including 2Chechout, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover

Please Note: Existing PayPal subscriptions will NOT be affected and will upgrade as usual until cancellation.

To UPGRADE an existing FREE Listing:

Login to http://www.singing-teachers.co.uk/directory/
using the login details chosen on registration.

In the user control panel, click on 'view/edit' link located on the right hand side of the screen next to your listing title in the 'Manage' column.

In the next screen select the membership required from the
drop down 'Upgrade' box located above the 'image/no image' picture and click 'Upgrade' button.

Select the preferred payment method (2Checkout or PayPal)

Complete the form then click 'Upgrade'. In the next screen you may review the details, click the 'edit' link to return to the edit form. If all details are correct, click the 2Checkout or PayPal payment button. This will take you to the payment processors secure website.

If the payment is successful, you will see a 'success' message once the transaction is complete. Unsuccessful or Pending payments will also see a message which may indicate why the transaction failed or provide further information. A success or pending message may also be sent to the email address supplied to us to confirm the transaction.

All payment messages displayed in the user control panel include a thank you note from BOTH payment gateways (2Checkout and PayPal) along with their contact details. This does NOT mean that you have been charged by both companies!
This information is necessary to comply to the payment gateways usage requirements and as the directory script uses one file for these messages, it is impossible to only indicate the particular payment processor you have used in the directory control panel but will be indicated in the transaction confirmation email from the gateway you have used.

Once payment has been processed and approved, you may login to edit your listing and upload your images, banner, button, documents or logo (depending membership type).

Upgraded memberships will automatically renew at the end of the term (1 month) until the subscription is cancelled.

Important Note: Unlike PayPal, recurring subscriptions set up using 2Checkout can only be cancelled by admin via 2Checkout system. Please retain the original subscription sales confirmation from 2Checkout as when writing to request a subscription cancellation you MUST include the Sales Order Number for us to be able to cancel it for you!
